NATIONAL RELIEF NETWORK

Our Mission

The mission of the National Relief Network "NRN" is to bring as many volunteers as possible into federal disaster areas to assist devastated families and communities while teaching the values of giving and compassion while enriching the lives of volunteers across America.

ABOUT US

Build a Brighter Future

The National Relief Network is an organization committed to bringing large numbers of volunteers to state and federally declared disaster areas for the purpose of helping families in their efforts to rebuild their homes, their communities and their lives.

Through our program, we have been able to and will continue to introduce volunteerism to thousands of teens and adults who will make volunteering a part of their lifestyles for decades to come.

WHY JOIN US?

We enable students, high school and college, teens, and adults to experience and appreciate the value of community service.

Participants will learn that volunteering brings as much joy to the volunteers as it does to the people they will help.

We motivate participants to make service a part of their lives through their churches, schools, museums, hospitals, nursing homes and other organizations.

TESTIMONIALS

“I wish the National Relief Network the rewards of a long and gratifying existence in our world, which
needs you so much. Other organizations would benefit in joining your ranks, because helping others is
the cheapest way to make such a lasting impression on communities. With the NRN’s Guidance, giving
assistance has never been so easy. I commend your volunteers for the manner in which they have
strengthened my district.”

Martha G. Scott - Michigan State Representative 6th District

“There are not enough words to say thank you for all of the help you have brought to our area of North
Carolina. Your volunteer groups have been the best organized and well run of any of the groups that
have come to our area to help. I pray for you and your organization, that you will have all of your needs
met and continue to do this awesome work. You must get your information out to other groups that
could benefit so much in joining with you. I highly commend National Relief Network and its
volunteers for all of the assistance they have given our area.”

Jean Brickerd - Disaster Team Coordinator - Atlantic Baptist Association

“This is a character-building activity of the highest order. Thanks from all of us in Valley City, kids.
The help you bring is most welcome, but even more important may be the lift to our spirits you’ve
brought with you. The example you’ve set will live on long after the flood and is a memory preserved
in our historical museum, which I hope you will take in while you’re here. And when my children are
of age, I hope to send them on just such a wonderful adventure.”
